About me
Hi There,
If you are new here, Welcome to my blog.
I am a former engineering professional turned homemaker & entrepreneur. I chose to leave my career after 12 years of corporate service to raise my daughter. My world revolves around my five-year old.
After I left my job there was this intense need to connect with the world in some way. That is when I started blogging in 2012. I am also a Children’s books & crafts enthusiast. I love sharing my ideas and experiences and “A Spoonful of ideas” was born.
About my blog
It has a little bit of everything you will explore as a parent.
From planning a baby, pregnancy, Good reads – Stories & poems, Product reviews, Book reviews, Art & Craft ideas, recommendations on toys, Useful links to learning and party printables, Home & Garden decor, housekeeping and some personal scribbling. Like I said, a little bit of everything.
I strive to make my posts positive. A pinch of sunshine always helps to brighten our day.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog.
If you like some posts, feel free to share or write to me for feedback or for more ideas.
Thank you and have a good day,
Poornima
Hi, Purnima,
Just want to say thank you. I am also a mother of 12 and 8 yr. old daughters. Your web reference is very helpful for my younger daughter’s project show.
Thank you dear,

Great effort! Loving your blog.. Can you please share a blog on daily schedule of a house wife
Hi Tina, Thanks so much.
Good question. 🙂
I think all our schedules work till the holidays begin….
Then there is no schedule. 🙁
Rgds, Poornima
Dear Poornima- not everyone can be a kathakaar and to weave stories that can spellbound young ones, cannot only be art- but demands true passion!
Anvi had a great time in your storytelling sessions and has made it tough for us to tell her stories as beautifully as you do!!
Anvi has unknowingly picked up the art of story telling and guess the credit goes to you!:)
Thanks a ton!
Hi Anupama, This is such a beautiful comment. Thank you so much. It is a gift for me on women’s day. 🙂 Anvi is a bright, intelligent girl and I am so glad to have been a part of her journey towards success. Thanks again and lots of love to Anvi. warm regards, Poornima
Loved this 🙂 and Hugs for you 🙂
