Hi everyone,

It’s a year.

Really, I ask myself? It seems like just yesterday and I am still a fledgling.

Flying a little and learning to soar. Learning, learning, learning. Sounds wonderful to my ears.

I see the number of posts and I cannot believe it’s 101 posts?

Again that question, really?

Did I manage to ummm (I was going to write the word bore!) engage everyone so much?

And then the phases of your journey strike you as they never have before.

And the writing flows through them.

I began reading…. Reading blogs, reading articles and making friends.

The first blog that impressed me, http://www.themomviews.com by Swapna Thomas. And it still continues to. I contributed some posts for The moms views. During that phase, the interaction with Swapna gave me that much needed faith that I could write too. So began our journey on http://aspoonfulofideas.com.

I still did not have my facebook page when a friend (my childhood neighbor), Ameet Chimote suggested, “why don’t you have your own facebook page.” I remember telling him, “and who will read me?” I was in doubt but, I did follow his advice. I am glad I did. I met you.

And, https://www.facebook.com/aspoonfulofideas came into existence.

It was new, it was exciting, it was intellectual and funny and serious. It was social, it was personal, it was humorous, it was fascinating. This blogging world and all the people in it. They fascinated me. I felt, this world had so much to offer me. It did not disappoint. I am fascinated even now. By this world and the people in it. They offer me so much. Thank you. I AM HOOKED.

I made online friends and fellow bloggers. I joined facebook groups, as a mother, as a parent, as a blogger and as a woman. Today, I cannot imagine my life without them. I meet my facebook friends & facebook family everyday. Much more than anyone else, apart from my immediate family.  In a way they are far away and yet near. Far enough to offer me my space and near enough to offer those positive vibes in my good and bad times.

A special thanks to all my readers. Without them, there would be nothing. No spoonful, no ideas and no blog.

To all you friends and family:

Hear ye all, I NEED you and THANK YOU for being there as well wishers, as rant advisors, solution specialists :), as experienced mothers, as friends and as supporters.

Sometimes it’s just that little extra bit that is needed.

thankyou

I don’t want to think about anything negative at this moment. Not about the struggles, not about the defeats, not about the sacrifices, not about the problems and the challenges that pulled me down from time to time.

I want to just dance away. I faintly remember myself doing exactly that. Walking in the rain, completely drenched, singing to myself and not caring if the world thought I was a little crazy. I think I was. That was a totally different me. Ages ago. 🙂

But, YOU? … YOU don’t stop.

Just dance to the music.

Dance if you love the music.

Dance if you believe that you can enjoy it.

The music may stop.

It may never stop.

Dance today. For now.

Celebrate with me.
