Hi there,

It was by chance that we came across these two fabulous books.

We decided to write a review of these two books that really were simple and charming.

USBORNE FARMYARD TALES

My three-year old daughter loves books and these are just right for her age.

Barnonfire-1

Usborne farmyard tales are delightful short stories superbly illustrated and in easy language, just right for the children who are just beginning to read. The stories are so simple that young children can easily identify with them.

Barnonfire-3

Also as they are all related to the farm, children get a glimpse of the farm life, the animals on the farm and learn new words like Barn, Pen, Hay, Fence, Hen run, Cow shed, campers etc.

The first book we have from this series is: BARN ON FIRE

Barnonfire-4

It’s a cute story about how Ted who works at the Apple tree farm finds smoke coming from the direction of the farm. They call a fire engine and the firemen help. However, in the end it turns out there was no fire at all. Just some campers preparing their food among a cloud of smoke. ๐Ÿ™‚ Cute isn’t it?

The second book we have from this series is: PIG GETS LOST

pig gets lost-1

This book introduces the names of all animal homes. It is so beautifully woven into a cute story that we do not realize we are even learning anything new. The story goes that there is a little piggy named curly who is lost. The children search everywhere for him but, he is finally found by the clever dog Rusty.

Here is one more picture. Aren’t they all cute?

The USBORNE FARMYARD TALES has many more titles in its series.

We would definitely love to own some more of these and are going to be on our lookout ๐Ÿ™‚

Meanwhile, if you have a child in the age group of two to five, you can be sure that they are going to love these booksย more than you will.

Take care and have a nice day.
