Hi,
Some very simple cardsΒ to be made in just a few minutes.
Inspired to make one for your spouse?
Your handwriting will definitely be better than mine π
Card 1: Using heart-shaped punch
Tips:
For the butterfly, use the heart punch on a folded sheet of paper. Do not cut completely till the tip of the heart.
For the pots, you can use brown paper or packing paper.
Sequins or button for the dot on the flowers. Glittery ones will look nice.
You can try it even without the heart punch. Try drawing a larger heart shape on the paper so that it is easy to cut. You can also use heart stickers which are easily available.
For the following one however, you will need a heart punch.
Card 2: Using cork
Tips:
You can use any card paper instead of the cork but try to use a double-sided tape. It will rise up a bit and give you a 3D effect.
Also, I started by making a path and didn’t change it but, you could cut strips of different lengths and actually make steps.
Card 3: Using jute
Tips:
Cut the jute in heart shape.
Use any contrast color ribbon instead of the red stocking material which I have used.
Instead of jute, you can use cardboard sheet or any other material which is rough.
Hope you liked these and will try it.
For children, please refer below for free and cute printables.

I love all the cards, Poornima, but the jute heart is my favorite. where do you get cork? I want some for the wine i am making
Thanks Gauri. You must see th epost on air freshener, you will love that one. The Jute sheet I had bought from itsy-bitsy website. Umm.. I am not sure if they have cork for the wine though. will let you know if I find out where we get corks for the bottles. I could help you finish it π
Some very awesome cards and the words you used *add* to the cards as welll! We are doing some Valentine crafts as well… but they are all Aarya made π will be sharing soon.
Looking forward to it Veena. I wanted to complete the sentences actually but left it to the readers to interpret in their way. For eg. Love needs to rest awhile… and I feel rested with you or LOve needs to rest awhile.. in your arms.. π Boy, I sound romantic to myself :)))
This is really brilliant and so simple too! I am surely going to make something from here. Thanks for the lovely ideas!
Thanks Rachna. Thank you for appreciating and I hope you make fabulous ones of your own.
