Dear Friends,

My daugher loves “fishy” and she enjoyed making this one.

I read this in a book given to me by my nephew Mihir.

Preparations:

Cardpaper, Cardpaper / shiny paper strips, foam, regular punch for round dots, stickers for eyes / googly eyes, scissors, glue and some green strips for foliage or any printed picyure of foliage. Also keep something ready if you want to hang the pic like a ribbon / pipe cleaner.

Use a Rectangle of cardpaper. Cut out fish shape in it. ( Keep the fish and you can decorate it too or use like a stencil for other such activities).

Turn it around ( use the back side ) and paste strips of any colorful paper / glitter paper or even colorful tissues. From the front, it should look like the above picture.

Then just add the details with a black peramnent marker. Add some foliage and white punched dots as bubbles.

Same technique as above. The background is a glitter foam here and I cut out the fish shape. This cut out fish was made into a fridge magnet. So nothing was wasted here. See below.

I used pipe cleaner to make the neck and tail lines. Then I pasted some broken magnet pieces and stuck it up on the fridge 🙂

Added ideas – you can use a larger foam sheet  and make many small fishes on the same sheet.

Hope you will try this too.

Love,
Poornima
