Hi,
In our last post, we had made a super simple Moon. Did you make it?
Today, it is our favorite SUN.
I think every child identifies with sun.
To make this:
You will need:
Orange and Yellow colored ice cream sticks
Glue or Fevicol
Yellow Felt
Red, Yellow, Orange card paper bits
A paper punch
Blue & golden or silver glitter glue
Blue card paper for clouds & background
Tape
A circular object to draw around.
Here are the steps:
1. Collect all materials. Break the ice cream sticks in two halves. Punch out the red, yellow and orange card paper using a paper punch.
2. Draw a circle on the yellow felt and cut it out.
3. Apply glue and stick on the dots of red, yellow & orange on to your circle. Let it dry.
4. Turn it around and apply glue to stick on the ice cream sticks to make the rays of the sun. Let it dry.
5. Tape over it to secure them. Then apply some glitter glue on the sticks and on the yellow felt to make it shine.
6. Draw some clouds on the blue paper and cut them out.
Now, stick the Sun and clouds onto the back ground. Give the clouds a border using sketch pen or glitter glue.
Your picture is ready.
You could also attach a string to the sun or the moon made earlier to make them into car hangings.
Super simple, aren’t they?
Stay tuned for some more outer space super simple crafts.
Love,
Poornima
