Hi,
So, we already have our previous three posts for Moon SunΒ and Alien spaceship crafts.
Now, we have STARS & ALIENS.
I think both can apply to our kids at some point of time π
Here’s how to make simple stars.
What will you need to make stars?
-
Glitter foam
-
Pen
-
A star shape
-
Accessories if any – Like ice cream stick or satin ribbon
-
scissors
How to make stars?
- Simply trace out the shape of the star shape you have on to the reverse side of the shiny foam.
- Cut it out carefully and you have a glittery star. Simple, isn’t it?
Now, see below to what use you can put it :).
So you can make a wand, a book mark using a crocodile clip, a gift tag or a card.
How about a constellation in the name of your child?
Just some silver glitter glue to write his or her name and small sequin stars.
Here’s how to make simple Aliens. This is from the mister maker TV show.Β We love that guy π
What you will need for your spoon alien?
-
A plastic Spoon
-
Googly eyes
-
Red dot stickers or Bindi for the ears
-
Clay for the hands and the feet.
-
A clay knife.
-
A heart shaped clay plastic mold.
-
A black permanent marker.
-
Glue
-
A pipe cleaner – glittery the better π
-
Half a (Red dot) bindi for the mouth.
How to make it?
Take a ball of clay and use the heart mold to make a heart.
Use a craft knife to cut into the middle of the heart as shown below.
Wrap a pipe cleaner to the plastic spoon to make long hands for the alien and add a small ball of clay on both sides to make palms.
Add googly eyes, two black dots for the nose, a half cut red dot for the mouth and two red dot stickers for the ears.
Now stick the alien into the heart mold of the clay so that he is able to stand by himself π
Isn’t he cute?
Look at these expressions on her face. She thinks so too.
Hope you have enjoyed making stars and aliens.
Look out for our post coming up on making treat rockets.
Have fun,
Poornima
