Hi,

So, we are back after the Moon and the Sun crafts.

This time, we will be making a super simple ALIEN SPACESHIP.

Here’s what you will need.

• Two paper plates
• A pin or pointy object like a circular
• A transparent small plastic cup
• A pom pom
• Googly eyes
• A pipe cleaner
• Glue
• Glitter glue
• Sequins and dots (or bindis)
• A piece of wire.
• A string

Here’s how to make it.

1. Make a hole using your pointy circular on two sides of the plates.

Wire a pipe cleaner through the two holes of the plates, on both sides & loop it up.

This will ensure that the two plates remain in that position.

 

2. Take a pom pom and stick on three googly eyes to it to make an alien.

Place the pom pom at the center of the plate and stick it using glue. L:et it dry for 5 minutes.

Take the plastic cup and carefully bore a small hole in its center, again using the circular.

Poke the wire through this and when it is out from the other end, make a small loop.

Apply glue to the rim of the plastic cup & stick this onto the alien. Again, let it dry for 8 to 10 minutes.

3. Add the decorations now.

We added big colorful bindis and then added some glitter glue spots to it.

Remember to also make a border on the small plastic cup with glitter glue as the fevicol might be seen.

Add a string to your loop and hang it in your balcony. Take care that the neighbors don’t see it at night.

Who knows they might think it is a real one 🙂

We loved making this spaceship because it was simple and looks great hanging in mid-air.
