Colorful Caterpillar with empty tea light candle holders
This activity can be used with the books: The very hungry caterpillar or The crunching munching caterpillar.
You will need:
1. Empty tea light candle holders
2. Googly eyes
3. Pipe cleaner for the antenna
4. Colorful paper in shades of green and yellow for the foliage
5. Base background card paper
6. Circles of different colors for the caterpillar body
7. Scissors and fevicol
Tips:
1. You can make a caterpillar with 10 tea light candle holders and write numbers from one to ten for your child.
2. You can write the name of your child on it to make a super duper nameplate
3. You can paint the tea light candle holders instead of the colorful paper circles.
4. You can use empty bottle caps instead of candle holders.
5. You can paint the empty tealight holders in different colors and keep the open side on top to have a nice box to keep trinkets in – like beads or marbles etc. whatever, your child collects : )
