Hi,
I started off by looking at few google images of crafts related to cardboard rolls. The easiest and the best were the butterflies. They would make very colorful additions to my balcony plants.
Requirements – Any cardboard rolls, cardpapers, tissues, available stickers, glue, scissors, foam sheets if available, satin ribbon, Regular punch, googly eyes, empty lids to seal off one side of the rolls,

I tried the below one with glitter foam and stickers for eyes. The eyes have come out such that my butterfly looks like “The incredibles”. This time I used a lid for the bottom so that it becmes a proper useful pencil holder. The flower was added to hide the lid but it looks quite nice even without the flower. Just paint the lid.
Next is my favorite because it just involves stickers. So, it is simple even for the tiny tots to do it.

I had some 3 D stickers lying around. They could no longer be stuck as the tape was probably old. The cut outs were great. I used these cut outs and made the following pen holders. I started by putting cardpaper at the bottom first and then covering up the rolls in some plain / wrap paper. Then, just stuck these cut outs to them. Later on, I also added a name plate to the knight and just wrote the name of the child on the bottom of these cut outs. They made good personalised pencil holders. This idea is worth trying out with different thick cardboard 3 D stickers. I just tried my hand on it but they look really child friendly.

This is my last idea in this post and one that i simply LOVED. I think this one is going to be equally appreciated by the grownups. I found these coloured sticks from itsy bitsy in a crossword store. Immediately, I thought about my topic at the moment – cardboard rolls. I have started thinking that if I keep up this way, I am sure to get more n more ideas from everywhere around me. Including my friends 🙂
Here it is, simple pictures to understand. And just a lil fevicol 😉
Just keep these handy and you have got it made 🙂
